3rd Annual AMS Gobbler this Saturday
The Alien Motor Speedway is wrapping up their fourth season with a bang this Saturday, November 19, with the 3rd Annual AMS Gobbler. INEX Legends Cars will be battling it out for $1,000 to win along with the final round of the Hobby Stocks vs. Street Stocks Challenge.
AMS Bombers and Deanna's Cubby Junior Cyclones will run their final points night of the year, and Stock Cars have also been added with some help of Dakota Folsom insurance.
The pits open at 3 p.m., grandstands open at 530 and racing gets underway at 6:30.
The track owners began construction in early 2018 and first opened gates for racing around the semi-banked 3/8-mile clay oval in 2019. It has become the most popular destination in Roswell since the alleged UFO incident in July 1947.
The Alien Motor Speedway is located 0.8 mile south of US 380 (E. 2nd St.) on S. Atkinson Ave., then left. The physical address is 1003 S Atkinson Ave, Roswell, NM 88203. The track offers state-of-the-art construction with all-new grandstands, fencing, LED lighting and much more.
